I must be 28 because my husband and I always have the same arguement, I always think I'm a year older than I am, since my first thought was 29 that makes me only 28. Good thing 28 and 29 are in the same catagory.

In the 3.91% group - sheesh! Well, is it better to be in the younger part of an older bracket or to be in the older part of a younger bracket? I'm 59. Maybe physically, I wouldn't mind being 36 again, but aside from that, I'm happy with where I'm at on the scale. Maturity-wise, I'm probably better than I've ever been as far as accepting myself and enjoying being "me". Emotionally, I'm still a basket case from losing my mom. Professionally, well, I'm finally able to be "boss" - of my unit, anyway. Financially, I've never been more stable. Mentally, I think my sense of humor is naughtier and I have much more fun. Why can't we start out this way instead of acquiring it later?

...Am I the youngest? I'm 15. I generally don't talk like a 15 year old. I'm slighty more mature for my age. Sometimes.

I'm also more "mature for my age" sometimes, and old enough to know better. Some people much older seem to be in much better health and spirits than me so I think age is just a number. I thought market research wasn't allowed on this forum. That is what this is for right?

Question

In the words of [the Chicago cartoonist, Nicole Hollander]: "It's not too late...but let's be realistic!"

p.s. one of the mainstay characters-'Sylvia'-always had a cat in the background, often making wise/cynical pronouncements...

I'm getting way too close to the big 3-0. Nah, I really don't mind getting past my 20's. It is seeing my parents get older that saddens me.

Yes, I've noticed in some things where they ask your age, I'll be going from 35-40, I'll be bumped up to 41-45!

Everybody tells me that, and I have the advantage that people say I look way younger than I am. But I think I was just born an old soul. Some days I feel like I'm 100 LOL.

I was happy when my grays started coming in all curly! "Finally," I thought, "some body to this mousy straight flyaway stuff!" The only problem is, the mousy stuff is usually about 20 inches long and the curly stuff falls out when it's about 8 inches long. Now I look really funky!

And as I was going through this thread again I had a funky thought--if we wait a few years, it will be totally out of date, since everyone will have aged out of their declare bracket! We'll need a new poll every decade, marko. (to make us feel really old )
