Thumbs up The Weatherman..

I loved this movie.. It's a new one (out yesterday) with Nicolas Cage and Michael Caine. I found it so funny (as did a few people in the theatre with me) but my man hated it...

It's just great to see a movie where the guy dreams about the perfect life and then he gets there and the life is far from perfect. And the crap that happens to him along the way... So funny. It's just wacky.

Anybody else see it yet?

Downloading is bad --- . But in reality who can afford $15 a ticket to go see a MATINEE movie. Did the filmakers and theaters think about that when piracy started getting so big? They really haven't given us much other choice. We watched Doom the other night. It was alright. Nothing good, nothing bad. Let's just say there are worse movies out there. We haven't gotten Weatherman yet, but after your description I'm going to keep mentioning it to the pirate because I think it sounds like a good movie for him to watch. I think he could relate to it in some ways. I like movies that trigger memories and make you relate to them.

Yeah, they're wondering why the box office is in such a slump this year... Looks like they've finally hit the price where we only go if the movie is extraordinary.
