The Cone-flowers are just starting to bloom,you can see some of one of my Butter-fly bush,the purply flower...I love those and all the Butter-flies it brings,it's now almost 6 feet tall,hovers over the reast of the garden

Balloon flowers are my favorite! They keep coming back every year and I love them. I'm always surprised that they're not more well known.

Chico, my Balloon plants are not as bushy and well-established as yours because I just planted them this Spring. I had to leave my Balloon flowers behind in my former garden. This little balloon is almost ready to burst into a full blown flower. Thought I'd add it to your thread so everyone can see clearly where the name comes from.
