I am so "fired" ~ a lighter note...

Some of you have not met Ceili.

She is a Princess.

Apprently she was a Princess when she was born and no one alerted me.

Currently, the waterbowl is two feet away and I will not get up and get it for her. How do I know this is the cause of her heart-wrenching, guts-pulling crying? I am her mother and she is nine ~ I know every trick.

I know I am "fired" as the BESTMUMEVER but sometimes a Gal just has to what a Gal has to do. (insert a Clint Eastwood type Mum smilie here)

That's hillarious. Jaida is our Princess. She was coronated at birth.

Tears over food bowls, minor obstacles, blankies improperly placed, etc. are commonplace for her majesty.

The little cow (I mean that with the utmost affection of course...) got her drinky-poo (gawd ~ you'd think it was the perfectly dry martooni) and is now slumbering at my feet. The cow...maybe she needs a little kiss...

May as well give in, it is torture to watch their sad begging faces .

Mine princess is Puddles, she likes to be carried to her dinner dish.

Awwww, Mums, you big ol' softie.

Did you ever get the wagon built?

And, I sure would love to see pics of your fuzzbutts again since you've been back over a week and haven't posted any yet.

We waved the white flag long ago. Idon't know if a little boy can be a Princess but if any of his "lovies" falls off the bed at night he makes a low growl until we wake up and retrieve it for him. He can't sleep unless his water bottle, his bone and his stuffie are all on the bed. He used to have two bottles and two stuffies until we got "strict."

Actually both Ceili and Declan are still doing well enough that we can walk fairly long distances. Me with my "critical, logical mind" , I thought both of them would be lame well before now ~ just shows you what the "dog" spirit can do.

I think I would like wagon for me though! Could that be arranged?

Glad to hear that Ceili and Declan are doing well.

As far as a wagon for you, I'm sure it can be arranged .......since you already know what a great "family" we have here.

And, btw, still waiting on those pics of your fuzzbutts.

You mean I'm not the only pathetic one here?

You know, I WAS a toughie once right?

I've had Dobies and Rotties and GSD's and...I, well, "I coulda been a contender"...

Ach, it's true...I've spoiled these three rotten.

The really pathetic thing is how well dogs learn. Declan (for those who don't me, Bridie and Ceili are sisters who came to me as wee-weeny-wees and are now nine, Declan came to us 3 years ago and I estimate his age now around 13-15) who said nary a word for the first year or two, has now learned to whine and do that "Nope, I'm not moving a single muscle because I don't want to go there, I want to go over there" thing.

It's a good thing I love them.
