my cat
my cat has a strange rash/infection on her chin, the fur is all gone and her chin is purple with red open wounds on it. they have been oozing pus and scabbed over. I have been cleaning it but doesnt seem to disappear?
Can you help?! Thanks |

It seems that she has developed an infection. You should take her to the vet for diagnosis and medication.

It could be feline acne that has become infected and will need to be seen by a vet.

thanks for your words of advice i will keep an eye on it and if it worsens i will take her to the vet!

If it does happen to be feline acne, I'd be happy to share what worked for us. Poor General had a doozy of a case and we spent nearly seven months working to get it cleared up. I'm interested to hear what the vet says.
