Thanks LMPG! I could never figure out the stupid red eye on our digital camera. Hubby alway's enjoyed taking pictures until he needed bifocals and screwed up his "auto focus". The new DSLR does the auto focus for us old farts!

Hazel: It sure did come fast. Delivered this a.m.

Need to study up on the manual and locate hiding cats. I'm also gonna need to use the 75-300 mm lense for the cardinals though. I'll fart around with it outside on the weekend and see what develops.

Aww, I love Gryphon. And no red eye is good. I've been lucky and managed to eliminate it with my edit program if it rears it's ugly head.
Nice camera.

Great pics, , that Molly is turning out to be a beauty, she is . Can't wait for the kitty pics

I used to babysit for a lady who bred Springer Spaniels, what wonderful dogs they are, except her female couldn't leave the skunks alone .

Must be the breed cause Gryphon skunks too! At least one if not twice a year, he meets up with a skunk!

More pics coming right after this LP! Futureshop had Canon Rebel XS DSLR cameras on sale. Hubby has a great eye for photography so he's just as excited about the purchase as I am. We had a really old Minolta SLR and hubby got disappointed when we developed the film. What he saw in the viewfinder was totally different then what got developed. He needs bifocals now so manual focus just didn't work for him.

More pics coming right up.....

She's had a few more blends pop out but I don't think she's gonna get too many more. All her brothers were predominent in their tri colours but the females were mostly white with gentle blending.

Love the gathering of Beam-o-philes!

Your village is pretty cool, too, klm!

There's only 8 out of 30 houses in this village. Didn't have room to set up my fathers entire village. Hopefully next year, I'll find room to set up more villages.

I had the same camera in my hand on Boxing Day but chickened out by the time I saw the crazy line-up at the cash. It takes great pics, maybe I'll have more courage next year .

Is Molly taller than Gryphon?

You need to put in a large bay window with a window seat large enough to accommodate it.

nice shots KLM, you can cut a piece of 1/2 plywood that is abit bigger than your table on both ends to extend the length for your village,,my sister has a huge one and built a mountain to go up too..

have you tried setting the camera on Sport for the action shots?

Never thought about the plywood Aslan! Great idea Thank you!

I think I'll give the sport setting a try the next time we're outside fromping around and take all the learning curves one step at a time.
