Question dog pancreatitis

my basset female has had a bout of pancreatitis, pretty serious stuff, she was in the hospital for 5 days brought her home has been home about a week still will not eat anything we have to force feed her, seems to still be in a lot of pain, will take her back to the vet today for check up. has anybody gone threw this, is this normal? any ideals on how to get her to eat?

Is she on any pain-meds? The first line of treatment in pancreatitis cases should be dealing with the pain.

yes she is I BELIVE THE VET HAS HER ON RAMADALL TWICE A DAY its pretty potent it knocks her out for about 7 hrs, and shes on a antibotic and a pill to make her hungry.
