How to ban Pound Seizure in Ontario

Hi everyone,

We are thinking about doing something to ban the practice of pound seizure in Ontario so that no animals will be used for experimentation/lab testing.

Could you please advise what action can be taken in order to have this law changed?

thanks
Alice

I think it would be best to warn pets owner not to let their pets run lose and made sure they're up dated with all their shots and have some ID tags on their collars. If you have a Humane Society I would try to work with them in changing the law. Some shelters in my state are only keeping dogs for 5 days instead of 7 days now as they do not have enough room or money to care for the animals. I really think pets owner need to be more responsible and get their pets fixed and if they do not want to do that do not let them run around and create more unwanted pets.
