switching 10-month Bichon from puppy to adult food???
Just wondering when is the appropriate time to switch a puppy from puppy food to adult food. We have a 10-month-old Bichon weighing in at 19 lbs. Is it when they are 1-year old? Soone? Please advise.

You can switch anytime after 9 months for small breeds. I switched around 10 months for my lhasa apso.

Don't forget to slowly wean him off his puppy food by mixing it with his adult food, switching him directly to a new food may give him tummy upset.
