Fingal really loves his blankies, and this morning was being especially cute (before he and his sister took off out the door on me ). So, may I present-a Boy-dog and his wooby!

And he loves burrowing and nesting, pushing the blankets around til they're just right.

Of course, Miss Jealous must be nearby in case her brother gets attention and she doesn't. In this case, it led to a funny picture as she yawned at me.

She's a funny girl. She carries toys around most of the time. I wish I could get video of her playing soccer-she has to have a toy (or even a piece of paper) in her mouth while she rolls the ball around. It's very cute. This is close, as she looks at me with a Kong in her mouth.

Fingal. That's the remains of a rope toy. He gnaws through the knots and then pulls the rope apart. I hadn't got around to removing the remains yet when he cuddled up on my knee.

And how, Mumx3! Stuffies last about 5 minutes before the first limb gets ripped off. Then they carry the stuffy-hide around for weeks. We just get rid of the innards and the outer part lasts for awhile. At least they enjoy them.

My collie rips everything apart too. We have to throw the whole thing away at that point though, because he'll eat it.
We had Walnut for several months before we got him and the toys stayed in perfect condition because all she does is carry and squeek them, then we got him and I think we have 10% of the original toys, lol.
Maybe boys just like to destroy things more

lol-it's the other way around, MBIE. Fingal is quite gentle with stuffies (not ropes ) and his might last just fine, but Bronwyn not only chews hers to shreds at once but gets into tug-of-war with Fingal over his stuffies, too. He's just trying to hold onto his toy; she's out to destroy it. Poor stuffies don't last very long that way!

I wish it was only ropes with Royce, lol. More like stuffies, ropes, toys, my carpet ( !).
The only thing Walnut seemed to have a strong like for destroying was my old coffee table. Luckily it was hideous and gave me an excuse to get a new one.

Oh, they chew more than stuffies! They've "customized" 5 different walls, a weight bench, wood trim, floor boards, floor tiles, a pair of glasses, shoes, shoes and more shoes including a Croc , gloves, hats, books, 3 pillows...they've been good about the furniture, though. (Or maybe I've blocked it out of my memory.......)

I love it when they get the notion to redocrate! Roscoe has redone our baseboards and the carpet in one spot of the living room. Mileva and Roscoe both didn't like the shape of our table legs, so they helped us out with those too. <sigh>

Ooooo....he looks so snuggled in and warm! And Cass was thrilled that Bronwyn likes Kongs, too (Cass is a real Kong-o-phile). Cute pics, Skryker!

He's a real Mama's boy, hazel! And it's funny, with that dental Kong, neither of them really liked it until Fingal chewed through the rope that used to run through the middle of it. Now, it's a fav. They have their own ideas about things.

Our old coffee table had been through years of doggie abuse. We finally decided to get a new one when our current dogs were supposedly trained. A week after we got it one of them jumped on it trying to chase the other one and there is now a four inch gash on the top.
