April 2013 pet photo theme - Pets and paws

Hi members!

any ideas for April?

I'll just throw out something
What about teeth - lips or tongues?

Feel free to support that idea or freely suggest another.

Thx!

How about pets paws, I think paws are really cute.

Hmmmm...might make a good excuse to practice a little with my new macro lens.

Do we get bonus points for getting our faces scratched like cheese going through a grater trying to take close-up paw pics of crazy kittens?

yes, bonus points are awarded in the form of smilies

It does not have to be close up though... no need to risk cheesing up the face

This one is from my wife's point and shoot but it shows off baci's nutty paws.

I'm sure that's an alien, Marko. Hahaha! Hasn't he got long toes?

May as well include this one of Roo. He's very tactile, always poking his paws in the sheltie's faces, or mine.

Baci does have nutty paws indeed! I can't really tell from the pic but it almost looks like he was declawed by previous owners?

No paw photo topic would be complete without Carrot's big mitts:

And here is Peppercorn's contribution:

Gotta love toe hair:

Thanks for the comments! Yes, Both baci and his sister were declawed when we rescued them.
It's not something i 'mind' now that we have adopted them declawed, but I would never ever declaw a cat.

Love those dirty play-paws GF.
Love those big mitts SCM - so cool! Nice selective focus in some of these images as well!
LOVE that angle Soundy - and we can still see paws so all good!

Great pics so far. Baci does have nutty paws indeed, and Roo being all submissive there! SCM - those are some significant paws indeed. Soundy, so cute!

Nikki has some seriously big feet to grow into but I haven't managed to get a really good perspective on them yet, so I'll just put these here for today. When he stands up and his weight spreads them out - ooof!

I'm a little late posting these, and i'm short one pet, as Misty refused to cooperate, but the others made up for it. (And I apologize to tezter for making light of the danger of getting feline paw pictures.)
