My crazy cocker puppy loves to eat hair.

I didn't realize he was doing this until this evening when he threw up a large plug of hair that I had thrown away. He was lethargic yesterday and now I know why. He's better but I'll probably have him checked tomorrow at the vet's office. Any ideas on things I should watch for or be worried about?

It may be that not many people have this problem but, for those who are interested, our vet said we should watch our puppy for constipation and vomiting. We may do further testing to check for an intestinal blockage if he continues to have problems.
