Chico I would love to in a heartbeat! I have been really struggling with the quiet home syndrome and the lack of routine. I really miss Winston like crazy BUT DH is giving me some grief lets say?? He is not ready and I do have to understand his feelings too.

We have been off this week on holidays and I think not having our boy here made him really feel the loss in our home. He did ask me the other day what kind of pup I would like to get when we are ready so I guess that I have made some progress.

Little Herc still has lots of time with his Mommy so I have that on my side

He is such a sweetie!

Winston, that hubby is even talking about it is a good sign Maybe he's going to surprise you for Christmas!! I can understand you feeling a little lost with no pup at home. When I used to have just one dog and the dog passed I was out getting a new one within days. The saying is very true that a dog makes a house a home. Oh and I LOVE LOVE LOVE the curly hair!

Melinda you have no idea how much I would love to take one on. If I really felt it was meant to be though I'd find a way, unfortunately I don't think we're ready yet. I think hubby is comfortable for now. I have to admit I feel kinda lost walking one dog though! So please, no surprise packages! Man it hurts to say that.

While that sounds like a wonderful idea to me I don't think my husband or cats would agree . They are just adapting to puppy Stella .

oh DogDancer, you must know I would never never do that to you or anyone!! *hugs*

Winston, I've been in touch with them, and when the pups are 8 weeks old (in 3 weeks time) they will start looking for foster homes for them.

the pups now range in weight from 8-10 pounds, they all have personalities from laidback snugglers to "lets get everyone going", some are fluffy, some curly and one that has a face like a terrier, rough hair poking out from her snout *L* she's sooo laid back and just wants to snuggle. any takers??

doing nails

Hard to believe both of these are from the same litter, one lab, one terrier *L*

I have to agree with Bearsmom that the choc. is my favourite too. I'm sure he'll find a home in a heartbeat. Mind you they all will I'm sure. They're just too cute! Love the little bandana's - did they try to nibble on the corners?? Look at you sleeping with the dogs again Melinda! I'm just jealous. Overload on puppy breath. WINSTON!!! Where are you????

Well DH had a smile on his face when he looked at the pics and he actually told me to email them to his phone I think thats promising! so I know him pretty good and he will likely show them to some folks at work. I am praying they will help me convince DH....A GIRLS GOTTA DO WHAT SHE'S GOTTA DO! .....maybe there will be an experienced dog person in the group that will say "heck you shouldnt wait till the winter is over cause thats the best time!"

Winston, winter IS the bestest time, the snow tires them out faster, and they sleep through the night faster
