Found Shepherd Mix In Willowdale

Found on September 11th, 2007 around 10:30 pm in the Shaughnessy/Glentworth/Nymark area in Willowdale.
German Shepherd Mix about 6-12 months old.

Puppy is currently being cared for in my home.

I guess you will notify THS and Animal Services in the morning. They will likely want a picture ~ hopefully you have a digital. Lucky thing she found you and didn't run down into the ravine!

yes...i will definitely call both in the morning. I'm just worried about the dog getting into the wrong hands. Maybe he has a microchip.

Yes, I know what you mean about the wrong hands. You have to be fairly vague with people who will call you. When I posted a found dog on a number of sites I got all sorts of versions of "Well, I know he's my dog so just give him to me" when I asked them to describe their dog to me and identify particular details about the dog (clothing, special markings etc.).

did you try looking under PUBLIC posts for lost dogs on the Toronto Humane society webpage? Maybe someone posted there looking for him?
