A Live Dog To Be Sacrified, Via Internet Myspace.com

Apparently, some idiots gave a dog (pug) to some 18 year old, who now says that on Wednesday (at 12:00 a.m.) September 20th, he is going to "set this dog free" (meaning kill it).... His MYSPACE>COM announcement of this event is truly sickening.

I saw this posting from a Washington, D.C. /Northern Virginia Craigslist...and I checked this monster's MYSPACE blog page (or whatever you call that) and apparently its true (that he wrote it anyway). He says that he's going to "sacrifice" a live dog on Sept. 20th at some unknown place in Richmond, Virginia. I contacted the person who posted the ad and told her what I would do (if I were still back in VA) and she's going to try it with the Richmond SPCA.

I suggested she "bait" the kid and pretend to be another teenager (kinda like the Perverted Justice sting they do with Chris Hanson) and say that you want the kid to kill your StepMom's annoying XXX (whatever)....talk his lingo, act like you agree with him, etc. ... do do whatever, you can think of something to get this monster to meet you at a some mall with an undercover copy somewhere in hiding, etc. ...lie, do whatever it takes, make them think its for real ... etc.

I was told by someone that you could contact CNN and somewhere on their website is a place where you can request that they "do a story" and everyone is encouraged to show outrage and to try to find this boy, via his computer, wherever he really is at and rescue this dog before it is killed on videotape.

People on another board mass emailed cnn, and got an email back from animal control this morning. They are aware of what's happening.

Yes, the authorities are aware -- they were "aware" yesterday but the Richmond, VA SPCA is not the biggest outfit that can do this -- they just do not have the resources alone. Meaning, if the authorities are aware and we're talking about the Richmond authorities, then I still think action is needed by the public -- a lot of public outpouring! It might help find this monster if we all do what is asked below. (I am from Virginia and I know its not the most savvy of outfits there) ....they do not have the resources like a major TV company to find this teenager in time to save this dog's life!

I can only pray that this is an elaborate hoax (for the sake of the dog) but when I went back out to this punk's website, he apparently is aware that some people claim its just a hoax and he claims that the event is still going forward.

I don't know what to believe but I'm tired of feeling helpless about it happening. I don't know what else anyone could do, except the "authorities" (whoever that may really be) and check it out in whatever manner they can. Surely to God they can get ahold of someone at MYSPACE.COM and get the guy's computer location. It can be done, just not by us average folks.

Pray, everyone, that this is just a hoax and if we've been duped, then so be it.

The lady who first told me about this, from the Washington, D.C. section of "Craigslist" wrote me and told me that it was just a hoax, that Oscar was actually the professor's dog.....apparently, because of the outrage, the site was removed. (I'd like to hope that's true).

I've asked her to find out what college this kid was at, as I'm going to get that stupid professor's name....AND EMAIL ADDRESS SO I CAN GIVE HIM A PIECE OF MY REDNECK-WEST-VIRGINIAN-TURNED-MINNESOTAN MIND !!! And if I do get it, I'll be sure and pass along so that everyone can do the same.

I agree it is sick, but I think the more you react, the more they get what they want.
IMO the best thing to do with a@#$%@#s like that is to ignore them- that's the worst punishment they can have.
