Adoption clinic Hudson Saturday

Is anyone going out to Hudson for Lucky Rescue's adoption clinic on Saturday? I need a ride, along with two cats looking for homes. I would be happy to help pay for gas. I tried to get a rental car but no luck.

The chances of these fellows finding homes on Petfinder, while not zero, are not great at this time of year. If people see them close up, the chances of adoption are that much greater.

Yes, Badger brought Toby and Noah, the orange/white kitty. They are both super sweet and adorable.

I had to leave early, but keeping my fingers crossed that someone gets adopted!

One of the 'roadside kittens' was adopted, a small victory. Noah and Toby had to be shovelled back into my boiling hot car for the trip home. Another little tabby was returned to someone's backyard because there was no-one to take her in. People ooh-ed and ah-ed over Toby (the Maine Coon) but there were no takers. He spent the night in my bathroom and will go back to the clinic this morning. Kind of depressing. Rescue is definitely not for wimps!

I agree with you there,Badger
I am sorry about Toby and Noah, there is only bad news on this Forum today, but I only cry...you guys are faced with the difficult task of dealing with needy animals all the time.
Now,what will happen to them??
There has to be someone out there wanting a beautiful, big Maine Coon kitty

Yes, it's very depressing and hard, especially for the cats who get very stressed at these events.

Badger I hope you come to Finnegan's next week. I know it's awful, but you forget about all that when you see a deserving kitty go to a loving home with a thrilled and excited new owner!
