BMD Simba for adoption

Hi, my name is Simba. I am about to turn 5 years old. I am a petite Bernese Mountain Dog at 70lbs. I have lived a very busy and sad life. I came from a Miller, was sold to a petstore then to a family. That family gave/sold me to someone else. He kept me for a year and left me at the pound yesterday. I am a bit nervous and stressed at the moment. I do very well with cats, dogs of both sexes and children. I think I would very much like a home with kids 5 and over as smaller kids crash and bang too much for my nerves. I am very affectionate, current on vaccinations and spayed. If you would like to give me a new home, please contact teddyscaninerailroad@hotmail.com for an adoption application. Thanks.

What an absolute beauty, I'm sure with that face, Simba will have no trouble finding a forever home !! ( I wish I lived closer!)

A lot of people profited from this poor baby's suffering.

I'm sure someone out there would love to have a small sized Bernese. I hope she finds a forever home this time!

If your Petfinder site is not up, I'll be more than happy to put this guy on mine.

A lot can happen in 3 days! I'll go ahead and do it, and take him off when your site is up!

Thanks LR

Thanks very much LR. I want her to finally find a forever home. She's getting more comfortable now, less pacing. She's not as jumpy with the kids making noise now either. I think given a chance she will settle down into a good family dog. I'll let you know if I get some inquiries.

goldenblaze - I may be wrong, but I believe that a man sent an e-mail re the listing in the newspaper of a Bernese dog being offered by the nasty Kennel in Quebec - and that he had alerted the Bernese dog rescue. Might not be the e-mail you are referring to, but this struck a chord.

If you can find what you are referring to, please let me know. We are gathering info and recording litters of BMD's. Thanks.

I think someone email me asking about BMDs... I will try my best remember who it was. I'm sure it had nothing to do with a kennel in Quebec, only someone wanting this bred of dog.

goldenblaze - If you look under your Kennel thread, you shared the wording only of the PM you received re Bernese Dogs - March 16, 2005 - a man had noticed your warning and wanted to thank you. This might be what you are thinking of.

What a beautiful dog, if I could I would. BMD"s are my favorite. I have seen many in pet stores lately and I don't think people relize how big they can get. My last dog was a BMD cross with german shepherd, great dog, beautiful personality. Good luck finding a home for her. When I retire up north where I have 16 acres of land a BMD will be the next thing on my list.

It was PuppyFever that was looking at a BMD, they had found one 'breeder' and asked for the boards opinion on that breeder. Overall opinion was bad.
Its in the posting ..search word "grosse" I can't remember full title.
From what i can tell they are from Quebec,.. not sure if they have been back to this website though.
