The koi are spawning this morning

The pond looks like a bomb hit it. I was hoping the koi were all male, but evidently this isn't the case. I'm going to stop feeding them for a couple of days and remove all the eggs I can. I'll have to do a water change too, but I usually do one on Saturday afternoons anyway.
Oh, and the UV light decided to quit too. I don't know if it's the bulb or the transformer Good thing I bought a spare the other day.

Did I mention I have 2 young puppies and no time for this today.

So do koi leap out of the water like carp do when they're spawning? Baxter and Bentley would love that! Sure would keep 'em entertained while mom did some chores or took a nap
