house broken no more!
I recently adopted a 18month old Golden from a couple that didn't have time to love her and give her the attention she needed. I was told that she was completely housebroken. We got her home and did ok for a few days and then she started urinating in the house....it didn't matter if we were home or not. There will be days that she doesn't go in the house and then just a few minutes ago she squated right in front of me and urinated! She is destroying my carpet. Any suggestions? I love her very much and I don't want to get rid of her. Thanks in advance!

If she was house broken, I say a vet visit is in order, she may have a UTI, very common in females

Sometimes a newly adopted dog can revert, get her on a good schedule of potty breaks at the same time each day, have her routine easy to follow etc. Give her praise when she pees and initially have more frequent breaks. I agree with Rottilover that a vet visit may be in order but I have had rescues that were house trained and when moved to a new home have some boo boos until they fully settle in to the new routine and home.
