Talking Hello, from Missouri

Guess I need to introduce myself, since I already made one post soon as I found the forum, hopefully to get a response before I pull my hair out from worry. Basically I am just a country girl, who loves furry little cute pets. I have always been partial to persian's/himy's & long haired dogs. I have 2 dogs, both Shih Tzu's & 7 cats, 5 of these cats are pure blood extreme face himy's & 2 are not but all the same just big ole loveable baby furballs. Oh yes, over the years we have had hamsters, gerbils, ferrets, but since my son is now 21, the smaller critters are all gone........... Donated the small critter cage to a rescue so I wasn't tempted again LOL.

I second what Hazel said, SnuggleBunny. I especially want to see the Shih Tzus, they're delightful little dogs. I have Shelties and a Persian but I do think before I get past dogs altogether, I will have to include a Shih Tzu.(If only a friend wouldn't know where to come looking for it if her Shih Tzu went missing. LOL.)

Red face a few pictures

I just looked for pictures & I can't find to many real fast, they are scattered far & wide. I had these on my phone recently I uploaded to photo bucket real quick. They were to large to upload here & no resizing software easily available on this puter.

Here is a link to an album I have on photobucket of 4 pics that are recent, well off my phone LOL. The dogs, Peanut is the puppy, he was my Christmas present last year. He is the youngest pet we have right now. Noodles was my only dog & needed a real dog playmate.

Noodles is the full grown dog, not sure how old she is. She was adopted 30 minutes before death at the local shelter. I got her in July 2006 I think & they estimated her at 3 years old then by her teeth, but when we had her spayed that vet estimated her at about 4-5 & said she had delivered many litters of puppies previously.

Gizmo is the seal point himy, born to be a show cat, notice the tongue sticking out. He had 1 flaw & his owner didn't want him anymore, tongue's sticking out, cat shows & judges doesn't mix I guess. Giz is probably 5 years old now, he might be 6, I would have to look to be sure.

Bunny is my ole man cat, he will be 15 years old on July 1st, 2012. His father was a full blooded manx & momma a seal point himy. He is the one who has surgery yesterday I am watching really close due to the Convenia they gave him without my consent. He is one of the best cats I ever has, just a big bundle of kitty love. He got his disposition, & coat from his momma & his bone structuce, size & face from his manx father. When he runs, he don't run like a cat, he hops like a rabbit, thus the name "Bunny". Oh yes, Bunny is naturally tailless thanks to his manx daddy.

Time for Bunny's ear drops & night time food, (he is still getting special treatment after surgery) LOL. He still don't feel really well. I will find more pictures this weekend. Most of my pets have some sort of history of being a stray, rescued, injured I found laying in the street, or ones that were just not wanted anymore by previous owners, 1 is technically a feral cat, my husband trapped at about 6 weeks old & it's mother got away. She was so beautiful, he worked & worked with her & kept her. He did this long before I ever met him & she is still here 17 years later on my blanket, under my desk right now. One of these days somewhere in my wander/travels I will find an afgan hound to bring home. I had one as a kid & wanted one even since so if it is meant to be, maybe one will find me.
