Montreal butchers
Hey Montreal meat eaters, I need your help.
One of my dogs has been dealing with some GI problems, so I'm working with a nutritionist/homeopath to figure out a diet that will work for him. The problem is I don't eat meat and really don't know anything about it, so I'm having a bit of trouble figuring out where in Montreal I can find all of these organs Does anyone know of a butcher vaguely near the plateau that would sell organic/free-range calve livers, beef heart and kidney? |

Thanks anyways. It's just for a short term diet, so luckily I won't be needing the track all this stuff down over and over, but on the other hand, it makes it harder to just find small quantities. A cow heart is one big peice of meat

If I'm not mistaken, this place wholesales to other stores. I remember contacting them last year for a wholesale list and someone there said that they were open to the public but only on certain mornings/days per week.
La Boucherie Bio inc. 10210 LaJeunesse, Mtl. You may also want to try Tau although it can be pretty pricey. 4238 St. Denis, corner Rachel. If you ever need organic poultry, Segal's on boul. St. Laurent near Duluth carries it frozen at a reasonable price. |

I'll look into La Boucherie Bio, thank you, I didn't know it existed.
Tau has some of what I'm looking for, but it's sooooo expensive, even for a temporary diet, and ofcourse I can't use chicken, which would be much easier to find |

Oh, I'm at Chez Vito every couple of days, but they couldn't get what I needed for a few days, hence my problem. Those guys have taught me everything I know about meat
