Swift Tribe Furry Guests!!!

we had some ancient and venerable guests in our house...

this is Miss Freeway. she is 19 if a day. buddy of mine has been toting her along his side for over 17 years. at HIS 28 years, thats a considerable amount of time for him. she is raw fed now and has been.... some sort of homemade fed her whole life. the stories of her dragging whole dead hogs home... my gosh!!!

she eats very well here.

this is Chance, my husbands parents dog. they got him shortly after Chris left for college. he is a seizure dog, that marking on his face is a birth defect. at 13 he is fading fast but still manages to get around well enough.

sorry its sideways-

Holy smokes 19 years old . Must be the home made diet free of chemicals and crap .

13 for a Golden is pretty good. Is that Cailyn with your hubby's parent's dog?

-grin- yeah, Chance has colitis so cant eat anythign but lettuce and his food. hummingbird cake isnt on that list!!!

yeah he has kept her on a meat heavy, left over sort of diet for years along with the bowl of various foods left out all day. i guess she always had enough food because she has never been crazy about dry food. he recently stopped bothering on spending money on dry and went to raw and left overs, much like Mister is fed.

In that first picture of Chance, I did a double-take. His tail looks like he's got a poodle pom-pom going on. Next pic dispelled that notion though. I love seeing happy, healthy old dogs.
