Red face Toy poodle bump on lip

HI - MY BLACK TOY POODLE "BEAR" HAS A VERY LIGHT PINK MAYBE EVEN WHITE BUMP I CAN'T REALLY TELL - ON THE OUTSIDE OF HIS TOP LIP UNDER HIS RIGHT NOSTRAL SO BETWEEN HIS LIP AND NOSTRAL. I NOTICED IT WAS A SMALL WHITE MARK LIKE 3 MONTHS AGO. AT THAT POINT I TOUCHED IT WITH MY NAIL LIGHTLY AND IT DIDN'T HURT HIM I ALSO RUBBED MY FINGER OVER IT TO SEE IF IT WAS SMOOTH OR LIKE A BUMB AND AT THAT TIME IT WAS SMOOTH. A FEW WEEKS AGO I NOTICED IT GOT A LITTLE BIGGER, THIS LAST WEEK A LITTLE BIGGER AND THIS TIME WHEN I RUBBED MY FINGER OVER IT WAS MORE LIKE A BUMB BUT IT STILL DID NOT HURT HIM. NOW ITS BIGGER AND THE COLOR DOESN'T LOOK AS WHITE AS BEFORE. IT ACTUALLY GOT ALOT BIGGER REALLY FAST. HE'S OKAY I JUST KNOW SOMTHING'S NOT RIGHT BUT ITS SO EXPENSIVE TO GO TO THE VET. my apt is saturday but i want to be prepared - gotta do the research here is a before anything every showed up and what he looks like now.
HELP

Some tumors can grow fast, sorry, but I suggest a vet check up.

thnks for the reply. my apt is this saturday but my vet is a client of my bosses so he always tells me that he will give me a break on the bill but at the same time I don't think he's really paying close attention..anyways i'm just gonna see what i find out that way i can ask him informed questions.

Bear is a cute doggie.
It's good that you have taken a picture of the bump so that you can see how it progresses.
When my Labrador dog was approaching her senior years, she got the occasional bump on her face. A couple of them were the size of a wart and stopped growing, but one was on her eyelid and had to be removed. It was not cancerous.
The vet can insert a needle into the bump and withdraw some fluid for a cancer check.
If it is not cancerous you can leave it for a while and see how it does.
The dog may start scratching at it though, and when the bumps start to bleed, they can bleed quite a bit.
Then removal is definitely a good idea.
