Question - Calming a cat that does not Travel well?

Is there any means to sedate a cat that simply does not travel well. I have heard things such as Gravol or Benadryl. I am weary, but more so, I do not know what doesage to even use. My cat (Ollie) is approx. 8 lbs and the trip is about 5 hrs (one way). Please forward any suggestions you may have. Thank you.

Your best bet would be to contact your vet. There are no vets on the board, and it would be very irresponsible of us to allow people to tell you what dosages of a medication to give your cat.
