Poor momma and babies...
My children found the stray mother cat who now has had three litters of kittens at my house on Saturday morning. My neighbor almost hit them with his car and so he asked me what we were going to do about them. I got our cat carrier out and scooped up the crazy cats and brought them in side and started to makes some calls. OUr local shelter, human society, pet stores, pet shops, you name it. I have since gotten rid of two of the most beautiful kittens but still have three and the mother won't leave. SHe comes and pokes her head in to see them and takes off. I can't have her and am in dier need of getting them into homes. Momma needs to be spayed. I don't know where else to turn. The mother came by tonight for her nightly visit and attached our female cat. I'm sure she was just trying to protect her babies but now our cat has run off. In time she'll make her way back. My question is does anybody have any ideas where else to look for a home?
