Marko, what a great thread you started. That's a terrific pic of Zak....I'm always amazed at how you get your kitties to "pose".

Too many pics to comment individually but they are all adoarable.

And, Sam and Gingko really do look alike.

Wow Ginko and Sam look so much alike! Sam's my rescue kitty- she was a year and a half old when I adopted her from the Saskatoon SPCA and she is the sweetest cat ever. She's not very cuddly though! Is your Ginko cross eyed (and blue eyed) too? Because that would be really weird! We're in Saskatoon and I noticed you're from Saskatchewan. How old is Ginko? We estimate Sam to be almost 5 (but not sure because she was an older rescue).

Here's another picture of her:

Thanks everyone! Great shots!

Animalprotector - Although your 'painted' versions of the images we posted are lovely, and a nice gesture, using them without asking us first is an infringement of our copyright....and some people might be upset....so I would ask that you refrain from doing this in the future unless you have our permission BEFOREHAND.

As for me it's ok for this shot....and now that I've said my Admin piece..

Can you tell us what photoshop filter you used?

Thanks everyone!

Marko

here we go

here's some photos of my cat finally.
Amy's crate is behind Bubby. She thinks it belongs to both of them, so goes in and out when she feels like it.

Marko,

Thank you for your comment...

I do not use Photoshop or Photoshop plugins. I use Microsoft Image Composer, which came as a bonus program with Microsoft FrontPage 98 and FrontPage 2000. Microsoft deleted it from their available programs in late 2000, and no longer supports it. Microsoft Image Composer is a very basic graphics program which allows the users to modify effects and to save their created efforts. Over the years, I created my own techniques. I have yet to find anyone that can produce similar quality graphics in the same time as I do. I have protected these techniques as trade secrets. I will pass the techniques on to my grand children...

God Bless You and Yours.

George...

Marko -- you can get a very similar effect with the filter PAINT DAUBS in the artistic filters....

Cram, I live in Saskatoon as well and adopted Ginkgo from the SPCA but she is only about 18 months old now. Maybe related to yours, though. Her papers that they filled in said "Siamese" but she has changed and is much more round and looks less like a Siamese now. She wat at PetsMart in Preston Crossing where they showcase SPCA animals every second week. I think it is Street Cat Rescue animals on alternating weeks. I didn't go in looking for a cat but saw Ginkgo and had to have her. I know Ginkgo had siblings as they told me she was the last to be adopted out.

She does have the blue eyes but they are not crossed.

I'd post more pictures but am having a problem with imageshack right at the moment. I'll try again a little later.

The sock thief is priceless and got a giggle of Lexie on the ironing board.

Karen D, to post a pic scroll down to where it says "Additional Otions" and click on "Manage Attachments" then follow the directions to upload the pics from your computer.

Great thread idea, Marko! Just wonderful pics everyone of all your feline beauties! SO nice to admire each of these lovely kitties, and hope there's lots more to come!
Like Chico, I love all animals dearly...but just have a certain special affinity for cats. All colours, all types, all personalities.. they just captivate me. If it wasnt for my husband.. sure I'd have many more than 3.

I just posted pics of my kitty crew not long ago.. but well, here's one more each. Miranda and Basil here, my sweet and fuzzy companions for the last 7 years.
