Urgent! Foster needed...

....for a 4 year old Schnauzer mix. Female, spayed, small size. Shy, but loving. She needs a quiet home.

Owner unfortunately suffering from severe mental problems and will be hospitalized indefinitely.

Also homeless are a 1 1/2 yr old male toy poodle and a 3 yr old female Himalayan cat, both spayed/neutered.
Both dogs are good with cats.

I will have pics tomorrow when we go to pick up the animals.

If anyone can help, please PM me.

Awww! Poor pets! BUT what on earth is a teacup poodle? Heard of "toy" poodles but not teacups. Do I want to know - another attempt at breeding something with a poodle? (That poosite the other nite was awful - the ppl breeding every breed they can think of with poodles, ugghhhhhhhhhhhh!!!) That is a desecration of the breed in my opinion - no way that is healthy or good for the dogs.Imagine the possibilities down the line. Mama golden lab bred with a male poddle has a female and the small female poodle is bred and has a larger (too large for her) - dog with more lab traits.

Look at the outbreading sphynx prog for example - the 2nd and 3rd generation still have litters where many of the kittens have hair. (But it is planned for and expected) It is the same with these bred poodlewhatevers, there is no way to ensure they will get 1/2 poodle traits, 1/2 whatever. These ppl do not even sound like they understand genetics - scary scary thought, especially for the poor animals!

"Teacup" is a marketing ploy used by puppymillers and backyard breeders to get big bucks for undersized and out of standard dogs.

The poodle is a toy, and not "teacup" - grey and adorable but very nervous and timid.

The Schnauzer mix (maybe mixed with Lhasa) is a SWEET cuddlebug who wants to be held and petted all the time.

They must go together and will be wonderful pets. They are good with cats.

THANK YOU to Helen at Animatch, who not only took both dogs on short notice, but also donated a bunch of cat food to us!!!
