Crikey I Got Tripe

we picked up some scalded tripe. its not green... which a quick google explained.

is the scalded still healthy for him? how much do i feed? a whole meal? part of a meal?

i can find lots of info on green tripe.... just looking for a bit on the scalded. i picked up two packs of it.

Is it white.you don't want to give the bleached tripe.haven't heard about that one.
One of the results i got from a google search is showing as bleeched tripe

right, bleached/scalded... the scalding bleaches it. i know its not as good as green but i have it, and we prefer to not waste food. i know im not going to eat it!!! i just have no idea what to do with white or green or any other color.

When i first started raw. i bought some and was told not to feed it.only green.it's still in the freezer.
I buy mine at my pet store.raw minced green tripe.frozen.
or the wet dog food form of green tripe.

Oh, but tripe soup is so delicious, especially when you add a spoon of yogurt. You'd be surprised at how good it is .
