Pls Help - Lost Red & White Basenji Male Dog

Sometime today (Sunday) my dog made his way out of the back yard as his dog run door had not been latched correctly...I've been frantically searching neighborhoods to no avail...As it is so cool out, I am hoping somone may have been kind enough to take him in for the night, although he is extremely shy, quite timid and unsure of strangers...I would sincerely appreciate if you anyone has any good news or information to offer...

He is a red & white male basenji medium sized dog named Ky...Pointed ears, and tightly curled tail...He does have a microchip visible on his right shoulder...Lives on Woodington Place near Niagara College in Welland...Owner can be reached at 905-788-1492, 905-933-9673, or 905-380-6578...Please any assistance would be greatly appreciated...

Thank you...I am so relieved to anounce that Kai was spotted and finally caught up with...He is now safe and sound at home...
