Can anyone foster/adopt a fox terrier puppy?

At least, I'm told it's a fox terrier as I have not yet seen it.

5 months old, impulse petstore purchase and owner is tired of it. A friend of hers took it in, but cannot keep it long as her own two dogs are very unhappy about this.

Apparently the puppy is housetrained. I'll have pics later.

Aren't Fox Terriers hypo allergenic? If so, Foxy's might have a possiblity for it. I seem to remember we had one or two people waiting for small and hypo allergenic. Let me know if you get it and I'll contact A about it.

If they are hypo allergetic and ok with older kids (10 or so) my great niece is looking for a dog. I will keep checking back for pics. (She was wanting a bichon, but......)

There are no hypoallergenic dogs. Poodles probably come close.

"Coquine" is a purebred Wirehaired Fox Terrier. She is, like all terriers, high energy.

She will NOT be adopted to anyone who works all day. She has spent her entire life in a cage already.

She was purchased at the Safari pet store in Fairview, and this is the 3RD puppy this woman has bought and dumped. The pet store couldnt' care less, so don't shop there!

Coquine needs someone who understands terriers and is willing to give her the exercise and attention she deserves.

lol

That happened at the speed of light. Glad she will have her forever home now. Poor little girl being an impulse purchase.

I figured it would not take long for this baby to find a forever home. Very cute face. Looks like a little teddy bear. Hopefully this will be a forever hom for this poor baby.

Yes, any smaller breed or seldom seen breed puppy is liable to be adopted at the "speed of light".

We had someone interested, but alas all the picture taking, visit and listing of this puppy was for nothing - the lady who took the puppy in gave her to her brother last night.

Update?

Any news on how the fox terrier is doing right now? I have to say that I am disappointed that the lady gave the dog away after all that! Does anyone know of any other dogs that are on the smaller side (30 lbs or under) that are looking for a home? I've been looking for awhile, but have had little success.. I even made an appointment to visit a dog only to drive out and find that they had already adopted him out! I'm not looking for a particular breed, and would love to take in a dog that has special needs (blind, deaf, amputation etc.). I am also home during the days because I am a vet student. Thanks in advance for the help

Rachel

Special needs? Great!

There is a very sweet 7 year old dog with diabetes whose chances of adoption are slim.

And if you think you could handle this little firecracker, he's deaf.
