Badger is truly a cat whisperer ! Just like you 14+ !

It always amazes me to be at her home , see so many cats that are all getting along , amazing !

Of course , there's some bitch slapping here and there , but it 's friendly ones.

I'm the lucky one! It was suspenseful - until almost the last moment, I had no idea who would be leaving. To send Puce (who I understand will be getting a more 'manly' name ) and Coco to a home where I know they'll get everything they need, and more - there's no better feeling.

We were all a bit unsettled yesterday, which surprised me, but I guess a certain dynamic had been disturbed. I am about to disturb it again by bringing in the little black stray .

Thank you, Frenchy.

2 more cats into the Frenchy household.

They're both great cats. I've always loved Coco. I'm so glad you got her, and Puce is such a sweetie. So what's his new manly name going to be?

Cindy

I can see this coming from a mile away ..... when I got Monsieur le chat , I called him this way while I was looking for a real name ..... he's still Monsieur le chat so Puce may stay as Puce , BTW , Puce means flea in french and he's real tiny so kinda suits him

If he's already used to that name, why change it?

At least you don't have a Puce, a Mousse and a Goose, Frenchy, which is my case (or was). Luckily Mousse doesn't go outside, so I don't have to call him in to dinner.

How's he doing, Frenchy? Did they get to the solarium, yet? What do Paddy and Monsieur think of the newbies?

I was wondering if Puce was a name only you French peeps knew about and since you have your own way of pronouncing things does it sound like "Pooce" or is there an accent mark above the "e"?

Frenchy, please let us know how they are doing, they might not be that easy to integrate like the other two sweeties, but I am sure with a little time they'll snuggle up to the puppers

Patience guys patience !

They're in the solarium now , Puce was meowing a lot , Coco is at the other end of the room on a window sill , the other dogs and cats were glued to the glass door looking at the newbies for a while. Nelly is eager to meet them , but she will have to wait.

I have this window that separates the sun room from the laundry room (I know , weird !) usually all open without windscreen , I left it open but put the screen back on. Puce is on one side , and Paddy on the other side , no growling no hissing. I knew these 2 would probably be good friends. But Puce does growl if Nelly is on the other side LOL. Puce is walking around exploring , jumped on my lap for some affection earlier. He's now sitting next to the computer screen , watching me type.

Pictures ........ tomorrow , it's too dark now.

So - should this thread be put to rest? Puce/Duece is now in his forever home and just passed his one year gotcha day. He is a very loving vocal kitty and I love him to death. He fits in well with the other catty cats. Loves having the attention of other kitties.
HAPPY GOTCHA' DAY DUECEY BOY!!! (a little late). I love you baby.
