My cat is a killer! How do I make him stop?!
I have a neutered cat and almost every other night he leaves either a dead rat, mouse, or mole downstairs at the back door of our tenants basement sweet! And I think he is getting fed up! Can anyone please tell me what to do to make him stop or how to prevent it?!

Yup, that's what cats do. And apparently, if they bring you their kill, it is the highest form of flattery they can bestow on you. So just tell your tenant that the cat really, really likes them!

There is nothing you can do,other than keeping him inside...anybody who has ever had cats, should know they catch things and bring them home to show off
My Vinnie caught 5 mice last week and he's only out with me and the other cats...as long as they are dead,I would say the cat is doing you a favor, keeping mice and rats off your property

Lots of little nocturnal creatures are just more active this time of year, stocking up food stores for the winter, so your cat probably sees more of them now than in the summer.
Keeping him in at night should cut down on his killing. |
