Is my kitten too young.....
to bring home? She is now 4 weeks old and can lap milk. Is it wise to bring her home or should I wait a little longer?

I think she is wayyy too young! As far as I know, it's at least 8 weeks and why is she drinking milk? Milk is very bad for cats (or at least I have heard!)

She doesn't drink milk; we just tried her to see if she'd lap it up. She only had a couple licks because I know too much isn't good. I was just wondering if it was too soon to bring her home. I've been told 6 weeks old is the recommended age.

That is WAY to young.
canadiangirl is so right.8 weeks is so much better. Is the kitten with the Mom?If so,there is no need to be giving her milk. That is her Mommies job...Please wait till she is 8 weeks old to bring her home. No milk please. Not even a little.

Yes she is with her mom; I just wanted to see if she could feed on her own. I was thinking it would be better to wait as well; thanks for your input.
