My Niece and Her Boy Oscar
He's getting to be very handsome and he's doing very well at the Trillium shows.

She's very proud of him. He loves to jump. He's still learning of course but by horse standards he's still young. She did one A level show with him this year but by the end of the week, they both just wanted to come home so she's sticking to the provincial level showing. Not nearly the travel time or expense.

I just realized his markings look a little like the horse that played on the Black Beauty series.

I think your niece and my great niece would get on wonderfully, Pattymac. Em has a couple of horses she does eventing with. One is a grey Irish Sport horse, and don't know but the other, looking at photo's, may be a TB. Oscar is lovely, I'm very partial to black horses. Used to love jumping them too but not competitively. I worked for one of the top show jumping guys here way back when I got bored witless and left my Bank job.
