Talking German Shephard

Have recently adopted a wonderful dog whose prime breed is german shephard. Just wondering what kind of training is she best suited for?

Hi Linda.....

GSD's are one of the most ardent learners out there. I have one and I am constantly amazed at the way he picks things up after one session. I don't know what other breed your pup is, but the GSD drive will more than likely overtake that!

Here's a training site. Just remember that the dog will sense ANY frustration you have. The second you feel yourself losing your cool, end the session. And ALWAYS end on a happy note. Toss a ball, love him/her up.... The dog needs to feel that the serious training will always end with fun. He'll/she'll start looking forward to it!
