Dog Family Portrait!
I've been trying to get a dog family portrait, but it is not easy! This is one of many attempts...



Cody on the left - barking for the treat, as always
Nova - trying her best to ignore me
Snipe - ... doing what he does best!

Okay, so a few weeks later we tried again while on another hike. Somewhat better success! Although this is the only photo I got where they all looked normal (no barking/jumping!) But aren't they a great looking family?

I like that first one, too! Especially Snipe! I think he's focused... heheh They're both great pics, Spatx--and I agree, they're awesomely cute!

Snipe has Shadow markings! I love both of the shots, and agree with Melinda that their personalities are totally showing in the first pic. I guess it's hard to make those three sit still together for a picture, they must be a constant blur of action.

Yep, Snipe was begging in the first photo. However, he gets too excited and seriously starts jumping all over you and grabbing/tugging clothing... naughty cattle dog!! He's a good boy mostly, but a little nuts, the way I like my dogs apparently!

Our Jarrah is a jumper too(pure ACD) and she knocked her previous owner out cold , so be careful. I try to be calm around Jarrah, and no treats until she settles. Sweetie was another cattle dog we used to have that jumped a lot and she put a nasty long scratch down my face one time, also nearly knocked me out twice slamming her yard gate into my head, so off she went to Obedience classes. Much better to live with once we taught her to keep all four feet on the ground.

Snipe is doing a lot better these days with jumping/nipping, but it is a slow process. We started agility classes with him a few weeks ago and he's doing great!

Aw, I love the photos. The second one is my favourite. It's a great classic portrait, and I know how tough it is to get one of those. But the first is a vibrant display of their personalities. Both are great

Oh my gosh. Snipe is on the right in the first photo? Snipe looks like he just sat down on something sharp.

They look GREAT in the second photo. Beautiful setting too.
