German Shepherd needs new home (Montreal area)

Kayla is a 7 yr old spayed female , needs a new home because her owner is now working long hours . Not good with cats and not good with all dogs. So it would be better to find her a home where she'll be the only pet. PM me for any infos regarding Kayla.

What a doll! Have you pm'd Sylvie and Winston? Maybe they could help place her? I know with your hard work and efforts you will find the perfect home for her. She is gorgeous!!

We will spread the word for sure! what makes it most difficult to place her is her ability to get along with other dogs. Most people we know have multiple doggies! She sure is beautiful! Hopefully with all the net working a home can be found. GSRT is winding down these days so things are slim on that end.

OMG,the owner was going to have this beauty killed
that does not happen
Is dog-aggression not something that can be worked on?

What a beauty, how sad they would just put her down. I hope she finds a good home with Frenchy on her side she stands a chance. Sorry I already have one aggressive dog (work in progress) otherwise I would at least foster her. I will check around to see if anyone I know can help. I work long hours that is just an excuse there are ways to make it work

The owner is just an unfeeling jerk, like so many others,I am sure
Even if he/she works a lot, arrangements could be made for her,her home is her home,no matter what.
Just look at those beautiful eyes

It's out of my hands but the gang aka Brenda is in contact with the owner and she's doing everything in her power to get the owner to keep Kayla , at least , for longer ....

I'm afraid I can't do much .... I've been getting e-mails about dogs to place almost everyday for the past few weeks , everyone is full , too many people dumping their dogs , not enough adoptions. It just really sucks right now.

You know, every time I read about something like this GSDgirl and the dogs up North in Cochrane,I think of Best Friends in Utah and Dogtown,I am sure they could help, they've helped dogs all over the world.
But maybe I am a little too naive

I hope you find this beautiful girl a good home.

It is inconceivable to me the owner would put her down, just because he's too busy to take care of her. WTH?

I'm here I'm here. LOL

What a sweetheart. And it truley breaks my heart. And saying you are working longer hours is a poor excuse. I work long hours. And at times I have court BEFORE work. I drop my boy off at my dads. This could even be at 4am. And I also do shifts. And at times I will leave him there for a couple of days. Dad loves having him. So does my daughter.

See BEFORE getting a dog you need to think of the future. What if I get sick. What if I loose my job. What if I move. THESE are very important things to think about. And you better have the answers. Sorry but I just had to vent.

Sounds like she was not properly socialized also.

Well unfortunately she wouldn't fit in my home. I have 2 cats and my dad has one also. And I'm just not ready for another. And ever since I lost Yukon 6 years ago, I said that Tron would be the only one till he left me.

Does she still have her? If so I can ask around work.

Thank you mastifflover.

Your right mastifflover, there is always a way.

So Brenda, has she had a change of heart? I really hope so.

What about posting her on a GSD owners forum like:

www.germanshepherds.com ????

They've got LOTS of GSD owners who could maybe get the word out....
