2 Goldens , South Shore MTL

Due to a divorce and the sale of the farm , 2 goldens are now looking for a new family. Female and male , 7 years old , up to date with vaccines and spayed/neutered. The family don't want to separate these 2 as they grew up together. Picture to follow soon.

They are beautiful. I just don't understand why one of them wouldn't want to keep them.

Oh Frenchy, they are absolutely beautiful, for as long as I live,I will never understand how people can just give up on their faithful friends
Who is going to take 2 Goldens?,I someone will,it would even further break their hearts if they were separated.
Where are they now,in a shelter???

Still with their owners. I won't let them go to a shelter. I will beg all the rescues I know , and if it doesn't work , I already told my friend who knows the owners , they might have to consider to separate the dogs. This way I could foster one and find a foster family for the other. But there's no way we can foster them together.

I guess there is no grown kids willing to take the goldens. They look so happy and peaceful in that pic.

OMG these two are so regally beautiful Breaks my heart that this is happening to them now.

Just an FYI for anyone considering adopting these two (I have already asked but four dogs would be too much for Mr. Man )...

.we adopted our Ginger just short of her seventh birthday when the family moved and dumped her at the SPCA. Today is her 14th brithday and she is still going strong. No undue financial burdens medically. Seven is a great age...old enough not to destroy everything in sight BUT young enough to still really enjoy all the good things in life: car rides, walks, cuddles and the list goes on.

.Ginger was French when we adopted her and she easily learned all her commands in English. We also used hand signals at the time which are coming in handy now that she is starting to lose her hearing.

I really hope they can stay together. They would certainly be quite a gift for anyone lucky enough to adopt them

I hope so too , I've seen many little miracles happen in rescue , I'm hoping this will be one of them.

I am bumping up this thread. The owner just called me and we had a long conversation. She's a very nice lady , who loves all her animals. But is having a very rough year. I won't post her life story here but , she has tried to hold on to her animals (she has a farm but has to sell it) as long as she could. But now , needs help.

I mistook the dogs names , they are Casey (female) and Maestro (male) both spayed and neutered & vaccinated. She has agreed that they can be adopted out separately. Casey has a bit of separation anxiety. They are both 9 years old , good with dogs , cats and kids , which they love. And are submissive dogs.

I also told her I could help placing her other animals , I will get pics later this week but will post a bit about them right now :

-10 cats , all neutered, spayed, and vaccinated. 4 of them are barn cats but all of them very affectionate. (I may adopt one of them)
-5 rabbits , all females
-2 peacocks , male & female

will get more on them later this week.

That must be so hard for her to do, and she's lucky to have you helping her, Frenchy.

for her life taking a turn for the better and for all her animals getting loving homes

Hmmmm, think I could do it... Three dogs, 11 cats (cause Frenchy still gets one), 5 rabbits, two peacocks, two chickens? They can all move in and i'm going to live in the car

Oh man, why don't I have more space or money  that sounds like a perfect menagerie for me

I'll keep my ears open, see if anyone is up for a few new critters

Wow,that poor lady and the animals,I could not magine having to do that, but it could happen, circumstances change, beyond your control:sad:
I have some friends who probably would not mind a couple of Peacocks, they have a 48acre spread 3 hours from me,but then again they are just too far away ...
I'll ask anyway, but maybe a Zoo would take the Peacocks??

Maybe , I know there is one (Parc Safari) in our area ... this lady lives near me.

otter , the lady has chicken too

I offered her to dogsit the goldens on Dec 24-25 so she can go to her family gathering (will have too many people and kids there) so I'll know more about those fuzzbutts.
