spaying and neutering rabbits. How much does it cost in Edmonton?

Hi,

I'm new on this forum and I will be receiving in the next couple days two bunnies (brother and sister). I have read a lot and it looks it is better to spay and to neuter.

How much does it cost in Edmonton (about)? I will make couple phone calls next week (I try to call today but it is sunday and the clinics I have called are closed for the weekend).

Does anyone now the approximate cost?

not sure of the cost in Edmonton but I had my male bunny neutered last yr and it was 150.00, didn't take him to long to recover either.

Congrats on your new bunnies would love to see pics of them once you get them settled in

I was told it would be around $200.00 per bunny!

I have 2 right now. I made the mistake of getting them at a petstore. I got my girl rabbit first, at the time I was told she was a boy and I named her Michael lol

I then got a 2nd bunny a week later, and it was a boy.

They did NOT like eachother and they still don't. They're in seperate cages. I did find out the girl was a girl when I found the one humping the other :| (I know)

I can't afford neutering the one right now! But I didn't think they'd need to be becuase I wanted 2 boys. I'm pretty mad at the pet store. They seem to always sex the bunnies wrong.
