plucking dogs ears
Another question-How do you clip or pluck the inside of a dogs ears. I would like to start doing it myself. Do you use tweeezers and pluck-and does that hurt the dog?
Thanks Debbie |

Why do you have to pluck the inside of your dogs ears?

Because the vet says that they have alot of curly hair in their ears. if you let it grow too long it will grow into their ear canal and cause them alot of problems!

I've never heard of plucking ear hair in my life.
Since you have a breed that requires a monthly/bi monthly visit to the groomers, they will take care of any hair in the ears (they trim it). Plucking the hair may cause you to get bit. |

Do not pluck the hair out. It is really hard to explain this in writting so I would recommend that you have your groomer or vet show you how to properly trim the ear hair. Good luck.
