I'm feeling scared...

Hi everyone,
Weird thing how I found this forum. My puppy is sick and my husband has taken her to the 24 hour vet while I stay home with our daughter. He called to confirm the directions and I logged on and searched for the address for the vet's office and then found here. So I figured instead of pacing up and done after 1AM i will just spend time here with you guys. I almost woke up my daughter for comfort, but that would just worry her even more.
My puppy Charlie is a girl. She is a Cocker Pug mix and was a present from my husband last Christmas. I had been suffering from stress and depression I guess, and since we've had her....I can't imagine my life with out her. I literally think about her during the day and can't wait to see her happy face. Not that I'm not happy to see my family...this is different and it's hard to explain...i really don't know how to in words really. I know that this is bad, but it's where I am at currently....I let her sleep in bed with us and I cuddle with her at night. She 99% of the time sleeps between my husband and I. Well look at it this way....we save in birth control I wake up in the morning to find her sleeping and so peaceful. I probably lay in bed cuddling with her and talking to her for the next 20 minutes before getting into the shower. I love her lots!

Any news yet?
Having a sick pet is an experience like no other; they are so dependent on us and we feel completely helpless. Try not to worry until you have the facts. Even things that look scary can be fixed.

Welcome to the board. I hope Charlie is okay!

I know just how you feel. I have two kitties and I think about them many times during my day. I practically race home just to be with them.

Anxious

I know how you feel - but all will be known and dealt with soon.

Whatever comes down from the vet, you follow.

As to the sleeping accomodations, he who get there first is the winner!
