Question: How do I take my Dog's Temperature?

Answer:

A dog's normal body temperature varies between 38 and 39 degrees Celsius (100 -102 degrees Fahrenheit).

To take a dog's temperature,
  • Grease a snub nosed thermometer with vegetable oil.
  • Lift the dog's tail and insert the thermometer slowly about 2.5 cm or 1 inch deep.
  • Hold it in for 30-45 seconds.
  • Take it out slowly, wipe it clean and read the dog's temperature.
