Cat Weight Loss

Can anyone help? My cat is 12 years old and has suddenly started to lose weight. He does not appear to be any different in his habits. I have had a blood test done and nothing was found. A urine test showed that he has crystals in the urine and I have been given anti-biotics. I cannot see how a urinary infection can cause the weight lose. Any suggestions?

sometimes we go to the dr ourselves and we leave wtih unanswered questions, why because we didnt ask. or forgot to ask or was just hoping we could get the answer without asking.

this happen to at the vet . by chance u didnt ask and left and later realized u should of asked, If so call and tell the reception u forgot to ask why and if they cant answer ask them to ask teh vet and call u back. you should not have to pay to go back again for that answer.

I hope this is what happened. I know it has happened to me alot. Good luck.
