For obvious reasons there is no address on the web site. They would have more dogs and cats dropped on their doorsteps than they could handle!!!
The address is under 'contacts'.

No people don't drop in front of the presidents door. They drop them off at mine. But that's ok really. If I get them I network with this rescue and countless others. At least they are safe. My latest 'drop off' was a young cat. I was very very fortunate to get him into our rescue and my neighbour adopted him! I get to see him in the window everyday!

Spoke with the Dr. and Maddox maintains his great disposition and he is doing well thus far. No reaction to the injection site which is a good thing. Minor set back (and the less of all evils) is that he has diareah. So I will only find out sometime tomorrow if Maddox can come home for the weekend.

Unfortunately I will be fundraising all weekend so will only get to spend some early mornings and evenings with him. Anyways - he needs his rest and when I am at home with him, he follows me everywhere. I plan on luv'him up tonight for sure.

BM, I am so glad that Maddox is able to come home this weekend.

I hope he will just take it easy. Could they not give him some sedatives to keep him quiet or would that do more damage to his heart?

Have a good weekend and I hope u raise lots of money!!!

Sorry kids , no pictures this week end. BM just called to postpone our dinner. She is tired , got caught in the rain , was outside all day. No wonder she wants to put on her pj's , eat and then

the garage sale today was a success !!

she didn't mention Maddox so to me , it means no news , good news

Saturday was a success

So sorry Frenchy... I was completely wiped out. Up at 5 am and home at 6 pm. Crazy gloomy day but hey...it is for a great cause!.

I did ok...considering the day was drab. Personally I brought in exactly $300.00! Not bad considering it was with little stuff. I had to part with my crystal hand cut vase (which i loved...but I love Maddox more ). A lady was admiring it and asked how much...I was asking only 20.00$. She declined until I told her why. She gave me the 20 and told me that she would take good care of it for me..and I was to take good care of Maddox.

So I think the day went well. We are doing another one in 2 weeks. Can hardly wait to get rid of everything. My garage sale goal is $1000.00 (Looks like I will be asking neighbours for their stuff)

Maddox is doing great this weekend. He is quiet and calm. I take him for short walks and nothing strenuous. He woke me this morning at 5 am...so things are back to normal in the sense that he knows that I am here for him.

WTG!!! That is great! I am sure Maddox's vet bills are going to be humungous!
Love the fact that he is going on short walks with you. That is wonderful.

No matter how long you have with him you are showing him the love he has always deserved. to you and to him.

Ok folks...... seeing as the planned comp caper didn't come off how be we raise some Moolah for Maddox? I would be willing to act as the go between to collect the moolah and send it on to BM. That is unless you want a tax receipt. Then you can go directly to Gerdy's site and donate from there. PM me if interested.

Hi 14+K. Thank you so much for the offer to raise funds. I appreciate everything as everything does indeed count. We are keeping tabs on all monies coming in specifically for Maddox. I have a really good feeling that Maddox is progressing really well. Once this is over, we then do the knee surgery but one thing at a time.

I have started some artwork to hopefully get to sell to get more funds in. Not too sure how that will go over or work but I am going to try regardless.
