3 Year Old Attacked - Dog not considered a threat!

3 Year Old Boy Recovering From Dog Attack

http://www.wavy.com/Global/story.asp...nav=menu45_3_4

A 3 year-old boy is recovering at Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters after being bitten several times by a dog belonging to his father's roommate.

Police say that Tuesday night at around 8:45, the boy was playing with the golden retriever lab mix type dog when it attacked him, biting him several times in the face. The boy's father got the dog away from his son and took him to Maryview Hospital. He was then airlifted to CHKD due to the extensive nature of his injuries.

The boy is expected to recover, but his relatives say he faces plastic surgery. They say he is talking to them, which they consider to be a good sign.

Animal control officers did not take the dog into custody as they say they don't consider the dog to be a threat to anyone else.

The dog is quarantined.

Must have been Pit Bull in that mix

No, if there was any pitty in there, it would be a threat to everybody. (sarcasm of course!)
