Alright, I was finally able to figure out how to register for this message board. I am, really interested in adopting her, especially if her eye problem is taken care of before. One less thing to worry about. But my biggest problem, as I have stated, is transportation. I have no idea how to go about getting her to London, Ontario, when she is located in Quebec. I have been looking for months, for a black cocker spaniel, or black and tan. And have thus far had no luck. All the dogs, I’ve ever had have been shelter rescues. And I’ve never had a pure bred, but in this case, I am looking for a pure bred, even if it’s not registered. I just want a pet, not a show dog. If anyone can help, or has any ideas.. let me know.

All I can suggest is to go to the link I posted, and call the person named there.

You need to find out if she will allow a long distance adoption first. If so, we might be able to help you.

What a beautiful dog. Growing up I had a cocker that had many eye problems. Had to have an eyelid tuck. After all was said and done he was gorgeous.Lived to be 16 and passed in his fav spot.
