Umbilical hernia
My new poodle 'Sunny' previous name was Sunshine, went to vet today due to diarrhea and they discovered she has a hernia. Her medical history arrived and the vet and I went through it, seems she had a heart murmur from birth (Feb. 07) until last vet appointment in (June 07) but it is non existent now. Had been treated twice for conjunctivitis, and was to be a 'breeder' but the hernia squashed that plan - think the heart murmur and hernia was main reason she was given away. YEAH! So vets are going to spay and do hernia at the same time. She has almost caught on to house training (looks at the door and paces) is allowing me to pet her if I'm sitting but will not come too close if I'm standing. Am already in-love with this girl.

Sounds like she's coming along nicely, t.pettet! I hope the diarrhea was nothing serious!
When will you be able to have the surgery done?
