What am I?

Hey everyone! I'm a long time reader and first time poster. I've had lots of fun lately looking at other members posting pics of their dogs and having others guess their breed. Well, my Haley is a mutt to the extreme. The Humane Society gave a few ideas in her paperwork, but I'm constantly hearing new ideas. No matter what, I'll love her as much as I do now. Just to add a couple details: she's almost a year old and weighs about 30lbs.

Wow, what a cutie!

My guess is gonna be, Belgian Tervuren mixed with some kind of spaniel, or something smaller than that even. Just a guess.

Eh? Which part would that be - the 30lb part or the fluffy part??

Keeshond
Shepherd
Border collie
Golden

And the answer is....

well, the Humane Society DID say 4 different breeds:

German Shepherd
Lab
Husky
Greyhound

The vet suggested terrier of some sort when she was younger, interested on finding out her next guess. Most of the breeds make sense, but I still don't understand the greyhound idea?!?! They also said she'd get to be about 40-45lbs baised on the parents weight, so maybe they weren't right on the daddy! Well, the breeds kinda make sense except for her size, since she's half the weight of pretty much all of the other breeds they mentioned. The Keeshond seems like a possibility. I wish I could see the other pups from her litter to see how they turned out.

If anyone has any other ideas, I'd love to hear them!

LOL, I change my answer, I say a Tervuren mixed with a papillon. curly fluffy tails and tiny faces, size differences make up for the weight thing. J/K

She looks like a Keeshond for sure, based on her weight, fluff, and the way her tail curls up! maybe mixed with a beagle!

Maybe

I could just call her a flat coat keeshond!

After looking into the breed, I have found a lot of similarities. Sure she's not /as/ fluffy as the purebred, but she has the same tail, size, stature, characteristics and "trousers".

I know I'll never know her real breed, not like a DNA test would tell me that, but its nice to be able to give a description of what she looks like (without refering to the HS description). I mean, I was expecting long legs, long nose, GS coloring, huge paws and lab tail with the four breeds they suggested. At least if I say she's a keeshond - some of the fluff, you get an idea. Tho, most people have no idea what a keeshond looks like!

Whatever she is, it works She is quite a cutie, lovable, and very intelligent.

Australian Shepherd with maybe some BC

You DEFINITELY look like an aussie shepherd to me. Aussies have a wide range of colorations and markings but that tail is a bit of a giveaway IMO.

Are you high energy? Do you like to be with your humans constantly? Do you love chasing balls or frisbees?
