Puppy With A Heart

'Heart-kun', a chihuahua puppy, has been born with a perfect heart-shaped pattern in his fur.

The breeder, from Japan, has never seen a similar mark on 1000 pups she has bred.

Shop owner Emiko Sakurada said it was the first time a puppy with these marks had been born out of a thousand she had bred.

She had no plans to sell the puppy, which has been named "Heart-kun".

How very sad.

For this lady to have bred 1000 chi puppies, we would have to assume that each litter had 4 puppies (chi's usually have 1 or 2) and she would have to breed 12.5 litters for 20 years.

I am guessing that the lovely little Heart-Kun will live his life as a puppymill stud. :sad:
