My HUGE Butterfly-bush..

It's just starting to bloom...come on Monarchs!!!

You can see it at the back of my garden,it's more than 6 feet tall and very wide

She is a big one Chico ....good luck in attracting Monarchs this year, it's gonna be tricky though, I have 'em all .....

Yesterday I took the guys out back for the first time in weeks and couldn't believe the amount of milkweed that has sprouted out there this year and we all know what that means

...yer funny....Monarchs lay their eggs on Milkweed plants....even better than regular milkweed is swamp milkweed.

Last year,I had maybe 1/2 dozen Monarchs
The year before that,we had tons,flying all over the place
They do really love the Butterfly-Bush,I think I would like some Milk-Weed too,how can I get some???
Do the nurseries sell them??

Chico I don't know if they sell wild milkweed or not...we have oodles up here I guess I can dig some up and when I go to see 14k next month take it to her place.....Swamp Milkwood apparently is even better, I know of one place around here that sells it.
